BFA Product Design alumna Yogita Agrawal ’15 blends entrepreneurship, sustainability, and group-oriented design in the work of Ware Innovations, her Mumbai-primarily based startup. While at Parsons, Agrawal devised Jhoule, a wearable, human-movement-powered lamp for use in off-grid Indian villages. And she and two different Product Design students created Soapen — a crayon-like cleaning soap that encourages kids to scrub their arms — which gained an award and assist from UNICEF.
